Ronald Vitiello – Former Acting Director of ICE

Ronald Vitiello served as the Acting Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement from June 2018 to April 2019. Prior to serving as acting director, Vitiello was appointed chief of the Border Patrol in January 2017, then deputy commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, then Deputy Director of ICE. Vitiello took an active role in defending the family separation policy as a deterrent.
